Of course, it isn’t saying anything close to what the derposphere thinks it does. It’s saying that lockdowns should only be used when the virus is out of control. It has never been in control in the US. And AFAIK there is no lockdown under effect in any US state.

I’d rather not think about an election where Biden loses PA.
I’m afraid that Biden campaigning in OH is the same FPS Clinton showcased. IMHO he should hammer PA, MI, WI, AZ, NC (in that order) and ignore GA, OH, TX etc. Maybe put some effort into FL and campaign in states with winnable seats once the presidential election is sewn up.
I can’t think of a map where OH wins the election because winning OH while losing WI,MI looks far-fetched.

Is there any evidence that candidates showing up to a particular state has any positive effect? How about TV spend past the point of saturation? I’m very skeptical these things actually matter.

Yeah it’s trying to run up the score instead of trying to guarantee victory. They are flush with cash and should buy all the Ohio ads they want, but his campaigning should be in the states you mentioned.
