I suspect it’s because of the weird bastardized pronunciations of Kamala’s name right-wing media has embraced. Warping her first name, for example, makes the word follow the same lingual path as Ottawa. He didn’t mean to, it just sounded so similar to the other word in the part of his brain that distinguishes words by similar shapes.
I heard one radio host say they’d recently been corrected on how to say her name, and it pissed him off. How many more times would Harris be revising the pronunciation? What was next? And then used that as a justification to bastardize her name a few more times.

There’s plenty to criticize Graham for with the scandal, first and foremost that any government official clandestinely seeking the services of sex workers of any gender is ripe for blackmail (hmm, I wonder why he changed so dramatically in his opinion on Trump?), and second that if he is gay, then he’s a massive jerk for opposing the rights of LGBTQ people while still being privileged enough to be more or less immune from the effects of his own votes. But casually referring to him as Lady G without any other context is indistinguishable from “lol he’s gay,” and that’s unacceptable. If an LGBTQ person does it, they might not be homophobic, but it may still not be OK (I look to Chris Rock doing his “Black people and N-words” bit, which doesn’t mean he’s racist, but it also was a bad bit to do). You might not have meant “lol he’s gay,” but a reasonable person could certainly take that interpretation, and that matters.

I should have used a trump expression tho like prime the pump, fake news, rocket man, MAGA, or something else he claims to have invented, rather than the Dr Evil claim.

Cool. I was joking when I said it was a conspiracy theory (which it is?). And also when I said it was my theory.
I do think since most programs start on the hour or half hour and have roughly the same amount of commercial time available that needs to be distributed to keep viewers engaged, commercial breaks across channels will be highly correlated.

I mean, the Al Franken one was pretty much bogus as well. Yeah it was a stupid picture but there was literally 0 contact or assault. Such bullshit. Still makes me mad. Guy could have been a genuine Pres candidate this year or 2024
