The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: Old man yells at cloud, presidential edition.

How do you pronounce DAIS? I am extremely confident Ted Cruz is 100% wrong.

Voted Mayo because I don’t understand the choices or the pole, but I like Mayo

I loved Mayo when he modded BBV4L. Was amazing, and you could F OOT with impunity.

Like this very first question. Holy shit how tone deaf. He is only appealing to white racists who don’t want to see themselves as racist. The guy follows up and pounds on Trump like what we wish journalists would do. It’s really something, and I’m all for broadcasting interactions like this. Even Stephanopoulos jumps in to say dude, stop lying.

Day-iss unless you’re some kind of wannabe elitist.

He can’t even answer softball questions like “what do you plan to do in your second term?”, poor bastard had no chance at answering this question.

Gotta nuke the filibuster.

of course thats their plan, anyone that follows politics knows the GOP will let the entire nation burn under Biden if at all possible, all the while blaming him for it. Thats why everyone here at least knows we need senate and filibuster removed so that we can actually make improvements in his first 2 years, if we can’t, shit could be really bad.

I’m hopeful that Biden isn’t stupid and will use the first time the GOP uses the filibuster to stop something as the excuse he needs to blow up the filibuster. We help this a lot by winning a landslide and giving him a huge popular mandate as well.

It sucks that the establishment Dems need ‘cover’ to do the right thing, but it is what it is. It’s landslide or bust. It’s always been landslide or bust.

The UK is just about to find this out after voting in the Austerity party for another 5 years with a 80 seat majority.

Over here the bending over the barrels is just about to begin, after the’ve stole all the tax monies.

biden isn’t the problem, he’s not the one who decides whether to blow it up or not

I don’t even know what thread to put this in. Do we even have a Biden thread?

Has anyone actually read the NY Post story? I’m confused at what the big scandal is wrt to Joe - except it does seem that Hunter Biden dropped off a laptop at a repair store with a ton of sensitive stuff, then just left it. Or maybe someone hacked him, cloned his HD onto a laptop and dropped it off?

Man, if a failson determines whether a father should be elected president, I’d hate to scrutinize Don Jr’s affairs.

This is ignoring that even if the story were true, Biden has taken the right response to this already. He told the story of a son who like many Americans had a substance abuse problem and fought his way through recovery. For Trump to keep shitting on Hunter is no longer going to have the effect Trump wants.

That’s a powerful frame that fits nicely with the popular conservative narrative of redemption. Hypocrisy no longer matters once you’re in the redemption frame. Gingrich can cheat on as many wives as he likes if he lives in constant repentance. I suspect Trump continuing to hammer Biden as though Hunter’s substance abuse is the substance of the criticism is making Trump look like an asshole to conservatives now, too.

I first started my career working on a government data repository called DAIS. The people in charge incorrectly pronounced it DYE-iss. Tilted me to no end.
