Watching this I’m alternately angry and sad to the point of tears.
Trumper waving a flag just walked by my place spouting something unintelligible. He’s headed to join other protestors at the Utah Capitol. It’s been peaceful so far.
Imagine what an organized state actor could have done here. Could literally be holding our entire congress hostage right now. Sneak in with the protesters, then get the guns in and start disarming the police inside or shooting them.

I’m happy this is happening. This is literally what republicans have been encouraging for a decade, always to back off or talk about “civility” or whatever. Gotta be an extremist, can’t lose a primary, overturn the voting rights act. I hope there is more damage so everyone can see what the GOP and trumpism is all about. This is the America they have fought for, let them bask in the glory.
The only surprise is that this didn’t happen sooner.
