The Presidency of Donald J. Trump, Episode XIV: T-minus 97 Hours

Lol he’s so fucked

Not so fast:

I dunno if he’ll go that far. He’s already getting overwhelmed with blowback from the events of the 6th, and has impeachment trial looming over his head.

Not that I ever expect trump to do the sensible thing, but pardoning this guy would be a horrible move that doesn’t benefit trump at all.

this is one really good thing about the senate trial being delayed, trump getting too generous with the pardons could definitely flip a few GOP senators

I don’t even know if it gets that far. It comes down to

  1. Does his lawyer get on Fox News, Newsmax, etc. to get his plea actually in front of the President? Otherwise Trump will never see it

  2. Does the guy have some kind of advocate for support in Trump’s circle? All the shitty pardons Trump has done have either been personal favors or the person made their case on Fox News and someone in Trump’s circle could confirm that the President should pardon him when Trump probably lobbed out a question, "should I pardon the person I saw on TV?

Otherwise they could do everything in the world in the name of Trump and they’d never exist in Trump’s mind.

I don’t think he’s every gone out of his way to pardon any random person who did something he liked. He’s just not that tuned into the world to seek that information

Maybe he meant the Senate will soon be considering the nomination of Merrick Garland as Attorney General?

Chansley also stated he has no mental health conditions, but publicly-available
information and videos reveal a very different picture. Chansley has spoken openly about
his belief that he is an alien, a higher being, and he is here on Earth to ascend to another
reality.3 He subscribes to QAnon, a group who believes a debunked and fictitious
conspiracy claim that Satan-worshipping cannibalistic pedophiles are running a global
child sex-trafficking ring and plotting against President Donald Trump.4 As an example,
in a YouTube video uploaded on January 6, 2021, from approximately minute 9:00
forward, Chansley states:

So in order to beat this evil occultic force you need a light occultic force you
need an occultic force that is of the side of God of love on like almost like
on the side of the Angels OK as opposed to the demons all right and so as a
shaman I am like a multi-dimensional or hyper-dimensional being okay I am
able to perceive multiple different frequencies of light beyond my five senses
and it allows me to see into these other higher dimensions that these entities
these pedophiles these rapists these murderers these really high up people that they almost like hide in the shadows in nobody can see that because the
third eye ain’t open okay and that’s where things like fluoride and stuff like
that comes in so the horns the horns are hey man you mess with the Buffalo
you get the horns bro and if you ever tried messing with the Buffalo that
doesn’t work out too well for many people this right here this is coyote skin
according to the Navajo the coyote is like the trickster almost like almost like
a benevolent force so I’m wearing the skin of the trickster I got two tails here
okay so the trickster messed with the bull got the horns okay and the face
paint is representative of the Native American tradition of like donning on
warpaint of some sort only this is only this is a war that is of like a spiritual
nature okay so because it’s a war of a spiritual nature you need symbolism
okay in the symbolism here for me is you got the blood on the sign the bullet
holes Q sent me this shows the the the secret war in the behind the scene.
Hey if you don’t know who Q is Q is the highest levels of the military in the
intelligence community disseminating above top secret information to pay
attention to the republic so we can take our country back from globalists and
communists and satanists.5

In this and other videos of Chansley on YouTube, he states that when you watch television,
when you listen to the radio, there are very specific frequencies that are inaudible that
actually affect the brain waves of your brain. In a January 8, 2021, interview with the
Washington Post, Chansley stated: “What we did on Jan. 6 in many ways was an evolution
in consciousness, because as we marched down the street along these ley lines, shouting
‘USA’ or shouting things like ‘freedom’ . . . we were actually affecting the quantum
> realm.”6

Q Shaman is Ant-Man, it all makes sense now!

Time to purge the FBI. They helped steal the 2016 election and basically looked the other way and allowed this travesty to happen. Need to clean house.

Heritagenothate sent me this last night, I had heard of the Italy conspiracy but hadn’t really seen anything lol.

He’s also been making rounders analogies saying that trump is like mike trapping kgb/Biden lmao. I tried to explain that Biden already won the money and left the building but lol

This close to getting absolutely lit up by secret service agents. It was a close call for them, not Pence.

I thought about putting a little addendum that the gif wasn’t implying being that close was a good thing. 10 or 20 or how many secret service agents vs hundreds if not thousands of protestors would not have been a good situation for anyone.

Just going to assume that most of the people doing “research” likely have never had to write a research paper with documented footnoted sources and are not very skilled in determining the difference between fact and opinion. I think Fox News is built on this.

It is a good assumption. I always challenge deplorables to show me their sources. What they come back with is often hilarious. I mean I’ve been presented obviously photoshopped screen snippets of statistics from an article from some ad-riddled garbage partisan site like breitbart as “evidence.”

Just yesterday I was dunking on someone trying to tell me that the covid survival rate is 99.975%. I broke down the simple math and corrected him. He said the cdc disagreed with me. I showed him with links and screenshots that my numbers were actually from the cdc.

His counterpoint/counterevidence? Just this screenshot:

These people will literally take memes as evidence/news. Zero critical thought, zero intellectual curiosity. A lot of it is just bad faith trolling mixed with a genuine confusion of how the world actually works. They don’t understand much about anything so they just grasp for whatever agrees with their biases. And there’s a whole ecosystem of drivel out there that panders to them. It’s not any more complicated than that. It’s just how they are.

When someone mentioned that white supremacists will sometimes give their kids K names (from that guy with krazy k name) not going to lie, ole Kyle jumped to front of mind.

Now I had a brother with a K name (RIP Kooklucks) but he was no white supremacist.

Conservatives see scientific and nonscientific viewpoints as closer in legitimacy, study finds

“The major takeaway is that conservatives, compared to liberals, are more likely to see empirical (e.g., scientific) and experiential (e.g., anecdotal) perspectives as more equal in legitimacy,” Stein told PsyPost.

“Liberals think empirical evidence is better at approximating reality, conservatives are more likely to say that both research and anecdotes are legitimate. The trends are on average — it doesn’t mean there are no anti-science liberals or pro-science conservatives. And it doesn’t mean conservatives are biased and liberals aren’t – surely everyone is biased towards wanting their most convenient version of the world to be true, what we’re showing is ideological differences in how truth is approximated.”

The researchers also found that the difference between conservatives and liberals was mediated by thinking styles. Conservatives were more likely to exhibit an intuitive thinking style, agreeing with statements such as “People know, deep down, what’s true and what’s not.”

Most confounding is most people can’t talk to their representatives without donating decent money.

Who knew the loophole was just hiring them as minimum wage tour guides?

It’s sad because I immediately recognized that meme, and I think I can tell you the twitter guy that started it (@ethicalskeptic)

He’s got me blocked now but IIRC, he left out the months of Jan/Feb then used data that was incomplete from Sept-Nov.

He’s continuing to say he’s been right all along in the face of 4k dying per day. That’s amazing tbh.
