Lankford said right after the interview ended that he never knew that Trump had racist leanings. But now that Trump’s term is nearly over, it doesn’t really matter. As he was ushering the news people out of his office, he vowed to be vigilant in looking for any racist leanings in the next president.

Dozens of people on a terrorist watch list were in Washington for pro-Trump events Jan. 6, a day that ended in a chaotic crime rampage when a violent mob stormed the U.S. Capitol, according to people familiar with evidence gathered in the FBI’s investigation.

The majority of the watch-listed individuals in Washington that day are suspected white supremacists whose past conduct so alarmed investigators that their names had been previously entered into the national Terrorist Screening Database, or TSDB, a massive set of names flagged as potential security risks, these people said. The watch list is larger and separate from the “no-fly” list the government maintains to prevent terrorism suspects from boarding airplanes, and those listed are not automatically barred from any public or commercial spaces, current and former officials said.

The presence of so many watch-listed individuals in one place — without more robust security measures to protect the public — is another example of the intelligence failures preceding last week’s fatal assault that sent lawmakers running for their lives, some current and former law enforcement officials argued. The revelation follows a Washington Post report earlier this week detailing the FBI’s failure to act aggressively on an internal intelligence report of Internet discussions about plans to attack Congress, smash windows, break down doors and “get violent . . . go there ready for war.”

There are all sorts of scenarios of how this ends up for Trump. Some think he’ll commit suicide. Others have him running again in 2024. Others still, think he’ll start his own TV channel or social media platform. If there is any and I mean ANY shred of accountability and integrity left in our democracy, I think he does see at least some jail time.

And I’m sure if he did get jail it would be one of those white collar minimum security hotels. Let’s not forget there were like (6?) Illinois governors sent to jail. If he doesn’t lose everything or at least go to jail, I would view that a bigger injustice than anything he did. He is by far, the worst, most unfit, incompetent, negligent president this country has ever seen and the 2nd worst isn’t even close. He inherited an extremely flawed, albeit functioning country in reasonably good world standing and in 4 short years left in his wake a trail of shit and the country ablaze in death, division, and economic ruin. A total dumpster fire. Not to mention a little thing such as using strongarm tactics to overturn an election and inciting an insurrection. I sure hope you’re wrong

I wasn’t quite satisfied with the above meme when I posted it, but I couldn’t think of better wording at the time, so I went with it. It still gnawed at me, though, and I think I came up with an improvement.

The rights chants and jeering suck. They are like badly programed robots. I like the guy who is in the Capital saying this is public property i know my rights.

Play stupid games…

Eye for an eye, Dan.

“The harassment and doxing of lawyers has been unprecedented,” Turley said. “What’s most concerning is that groups like the Lincoln Project have been funded heavily by lawyers who have supported the targeting of bar members for representing the president. It will be difficult for the president to assemble the legal team because of that intimidating environment.”

lol fk off Turdley. Why won’t Sekulow represent him? That has nothing to do with “doxxing” and everything to do with not getting paid.
