I saw the meltdown live and will never forget it. Was hoping one of those dudes on the set would realize he’s just a white supremacist and snap his fat neck. But he still has a huge platform to spew hate speech almost twenty years later that you can check out after Ryan Seacrest does his bit. They normalized this shit.

We have Tim Hortons in the USA also. I got one and a DD near where I live.
Fox has proven that they will say absolutely anything to get/keep their ratings. IIRC only corporate advertising boycotts had any effect, and that, sadly, was only temporary.

Fuck James Comey and everything but his interview on Colbert was pretty interesting. First, he seems terrified of what Trump can do between now and the 20th. He said 3 or 4x how much he’s worried about it. Second, he thinks the FBI is moving slowly because Trump still has the capacity to decapitate FBI leadership. Finally, he thinks criminal charges should be carried by NY and not DC because if it’s DC, it will dominate the news for at least 3 years if not more. Again, fuck Comey. I’m just the messenger.

I’ve always been fine with comedians not absolutely grilling politicians or more serious people in interviews. Colbert/Stewart never really did, no real problem with it.
