Apparently my son’s social studies teacher told the class that Pence didn’t do his job at the counting of electoral votes - he should have rejected votes and/or sent them back to the states.
I am irate and want to calibrate myself - without knowing any other details, is this:
A) Teaching a conspiracy theory as fact
B) Saying something incorrect in a clumsy way
C) Exercising a normal amount of teacher discretion when talking about current events
I’m 100% on Team A, with the only possible excuse I can imagine being that she was trying to describe the protestors’ state of mind. (This is unlikely to be true given prior experience with this teacher.)

Sounds like A to me, but to eliminate the possibility of a miscommunication, if possible maybe confirm with some other parents that their kids heard the teacher say the same thing.

I’m sure this number is like 98% for Dems and 7% for Reps or something like that. The real story isn’t the total, its that half the country lives in reality and half in a fantasy land where Trump is doing a great job and will be President forever.
