I really don’t know what the best move for Pence’s career is here. Count the votes and head back to Bumblefuck, Indiana? Will he even be able to survive as a statewide politician after betraying Trump? Does he stand with Trump and try to brand himself as a MAGA guy?

I do not understand why pence just doesn’t refuse to talk to trump. Trump can’t do anything about it other than the stuff he is doing anyways.
Plus finding out Trump thinks he can fire pence would be worth it.

I think you’re right but surely when he signed on as VP in 2016 the goal was the 2024 Presidency. When someone has aspirations that large and have been thinking about them for a long time, its natural to irrationally cling to it.
I love the logic here. What, the dems rigged the Presidential election in GA but somehow forgot to rig the Nov. Senator elections, so now they had to rig them separately?
