Is there a blow by blow series of events with timelines of what all went down from reliable witnesses?
I know there will be books written about this shit, but to me it’s mostly a blur of Trumpnuts, RWNJ, QAnon, and the entirety of the republican party, and they deserve what they got so far.

The two streams we were watching were great and most of the photos I’ve seen were from them or people very near them. They were right up front or inside the whole time. The DC streamer didn’t go too far in once he got in because his stream quit working when he went further in.

I am generally sympathetic when you talk about how new rules will be used predominantly against left wingers (esp. LWoC). But using existing rules against right wingers seems like a solid positive. Like, those rules are and already have been used in abusive manners against lefties. It’s not clear that right wingers facing some consequences for the first time is necessarily going to result in that much more abuse of lefties. What we definitely want to avoid is agreeing on mercy for right wingers, but being unable to come to the same agreement for left wingers, so the disparity persists or expands. I’d much rather see right wingers face enough harsh treatment that they start to agree to more merciful treatment for everyone.

I’m cynical that the rules are going to happen one way or the other and almost certainly be used worse against minorities - because of the simple fact that the system is racist from the ground up.
However if just for once that system can over-punish these morons, I’ll smile.
