Why shouldn’t they make sure that some dipshit isn’t loading malware onto my 1200 phone? What if I have to make an emergency call and all I get is some spam message saying they’ve hijacked my phone? I think the phone is a separate class of hardware and should be locked down more than a tablet or laptop.
Mitch’s speech is the only praise-worthy thing he’s ever done. But if he had sided with the traitors things could have gotten really ugly.

Why not? They absolutely should not allow everything in their stores and this has been common forever. You can’t for instance download poker site apps from their stores.
