I mean Bobman is right that it looks like Trump really did push some kind of coup. I’d caveat that with it seems like he did it in a spoiled rich kid brat kind of way of not really putting in the work necessary to get everyone on board with a coup so the people in positions of power cut it off at the pass quietly.
But Republicans are going to 100% say absolutely everything we said is true and your grievances are 100% justified and, hell, probably stoke the insanity as soon as Trump is gone, and eventually someone is going to come along with enough ambition to actually put in the work of making it happen.
