Honestly, I think this is going to be like the “Unite the Right” rally. After that happened further attempts at “Unite the right” rallies failed for a while, because most of the normal-adjacent people realized how terrible it looked and that it didn’t help “the cause.” So I would think we wouldn’t see anything else like this until the inauguration. Then again, I’ve been consistently bad with underestimating the Trump violence, so maybe not.

Yeah, I dont see how the total collapse of security at the US CAPITOL BUILDING (!!!) is now going to scare them into inactivity. If I was a US right wing reactionary the lesson I would take from yesterday is “we can hit them even harder, they aren’t prepared to fight back”.

People have been waving their hands in the air pleading for the world to pay attention to how violent and unhinged this movement is for months if not years.
They had a far more developed plan to kidnap and execute the governor of Michigan, and everybody shrugged.
The simple fact is that the media and law enforcement have done jack shit because its mostly white people. Law enforcement loves Trump, they love these assholes, they aren’t ever going to do anything. The only force that has any chance is the military.
