Yeah but NotBruceZ is admittedly not empathetic in the same way as most people, and open about it. So imo it’s not worth it to argue about with him.

As if they can discern all that is happening from the chaotic events of today as if they were all following this as closely as we all have. Like, their constitutional duty is to gun anyone down who breaches that specific point of the capitol building? Why not gun people down at the doors? On the steps? Where is this arbitrary line of deadly force?
I don’t think deadly force was justified here and I challenge anyone to watch that video of her being shot and tell me it was. Jfc. This forum.
Maybe their plan is to cut off his social media and his white house phone. And then if none of his aides go near him to hear orders - what can he do?
That level of self-delusion is unfathomable.
This argument further supports why the shooting was fine. The woman was part of a group of thousands of insurrectionists that stormed the fucking capitol. You’re god damned right the cop didn’t know exactly what was going on, but i’m sure he could tell that it was something really really bad. This was a good shoot. This wasn’t even close to a bad shoot.

I wonder if “medical emergency” from rubber bullet or pepper spray is the equivalent of “enemy combatants” in drone strikes.
A mob was trying to get into the god damn Congressional legislative chamber. This is the most slam dunk obviously OK use of lethal force imaginable. Come on.

I saw a red Trump hat lying on the ground when I walked past the Utah Capitol building today. I thought “ooh, free hats!” But then impulse control kicked in.
