I’m beginning to pick up a bit on Czech and I feel a sense of relief here as well.
To say that about a piece of shit party like ANO is infuriating but they are overall doing a good job. It does suck that while the crisis team is multipartisan, ANO is getting most of the credit and while I don’t think they’ll secure an absolute majority, it’ll be pretty easy for them to up their influence in the Chamber of Deputies.

I don’t think one reporter asked something to the effect of (to anyone behind the mic, not just Trump), “You keep making reference to COVID ‘coming back’ in the fall or ‘not coming back’ in the fall. This implies that it will go away before then. Are you saying that COVID is going to go away in the next few months?”

This shows you what the govt is thinking - more ventilators = more capacity to push through this = ultimately more deaths since at least half the people on vents die.
Ventilators are the bottleneck. More vents = dark dark stuff imo.
With the shut downs - we got by with the amount of ventilators we had on hand - for this round. So why keep breakneck trying to buy more unless you plan to fill the hospitals again and even make new hospitals to fill?
I said a while back keep an eye on if they keep buying ventilators. I assume the US automakers are still making them as well.
And we know they’re not for prevention just in case the virus mutates or something - because lol Trump ever doing that. It’s because they’re planning to push it harder next time. Lack of vents is why they had to shut down the first time.
