Blacks are more likely to be devoutly religious than Latinos and the Catlickers are more likely to be Dem than the other Christian denoms (in fact they are majority Dem), so that conclusion is way off.
I think African Americans belong to wider variety of faiths. Hispanics that are religious are vastly Catholic so antiabortion.
I know a lot of Catholics who view abortion more as a moral issue than a legal one.
I know that in Florida, many Hispanics are Republican because they want a hard line on Cuba.

Catholicism is at least consistent.
Against abortion, death penalty, poverty, hardline immigration (though clearly some of these are not as monolithic as Catholics and abortion). And not talking CEO Catholics
