He was once married to Don Jr’s current girlfriend, an absolute ball of trash. What a world.
What is your prayer, your message of faith?
I’m terrific. We’re doing things that have never been done. I’m really fabulous. Also pent-up demand. Below the low side of death.
Cali actually donated 500 vents to the Feds a few days ago. Didn’t need them.
Is grampa watching CSPAN now? What the hell.
Maybe the play is to let the post office shut down in May and we will see how the Trumpers respond when they can’t get anything. USPS is the “last mile” carrier in rural areas, Trump Country.
Again much government malfunction is a feature of some right wing ideology, not a bug. The USPS prefunded pension system is exhibit A.
If you could choose to guarantee the virus is gone within two weeks and things are back to normal within two or three months but four more years of Trump, or things go like this another year but Trump loses and gop loses Senate which do you choose?
Happen to have a link to this 50K bread machine or something similar? I can’t even imagine what a 50K bread machine would look like.
Also, is was it supposed be a Banh Mi place. If so, he may have been on to something. The bread really makes a huge difference in those. I actually had a friend who owned a Vietnamese restaurant and I remember him going on at length about how hard it was to find the right bread. He didn’t make it in house but he found a bakery that apparently made the perfect bread that he used for his Banh Mi – and they were great. But as good as those sandwiches were, I seriously doubt a 50K bread machine was involved.
Option two seems like it would save more lives but it might be close, depends who is running the show in your hypothetical
Second option. The first one kills more in the long run and leads to the solidifying of a one-party authoritative state a la Russia. The second one involves more death in the beginning but the saving of what remains of democracy with less deadly policies in place to kill people later on is a worthwhile sacrifice.
Rural Trump voters will literally die before they change their mind. Trump could personally escort them to a gas chamber and they would be thrilled for the opportunity to trigger the libs.
So, what was his response to bolded? Surely, that must have come up.
Trump gone. As long as he is in office the risk of further loss of lives from another pandemic, climate change, border horrors etc is too high.
I’m now ok with the big Easter gatherings tomorrow. If the want to sacrifice themselves and their olds and vulnerables so be it. God will either save them or many will die.
It would probably be a step too far to encourage rallies for Trump to show solidarity? Manufacture an opportunity to let them thin the herd? Probably
They had evidence of asymptomatic transmission in mid-February.
Dems want money for hospital/medical workers in addition to small businesses.
Republicans only want to help businesses.
Both sides are not willing to vote for the other’s bill and Republicans are doing better at messaging war since we know more about theirs.
Well, this should be fun:
When President Trump declared emergencies on March 13 under both the Stafford Act and the National Emergencies Act, he boasted, “I have the right to do a lot of things that people don’t even know about.”
The president is right. Some of the most potent emergency powers at his disposal are likely ones we can’t know about, because they are not contained in any publicly available laws. Instead, they are set forth in classified documents known as “presidential emergency action documents.”
What’s in these documents? No one knows because none have ever been released. However…
Other government documents have revealed some of the actions that older presidential emergency action documents — those issued up through the 1970s — purported to authorize. These include suspension of habeas corpus by the president (not by Congress, as assigned in the Constitution), detention of United States citizens who are suspected of being “subversives,” warrantless searches and seizures and the imposition of martial law.
How has America dodged becoming a dictatorship for so long?
Choice B and it’s not close.
Yeah, that’s probably the optimal line to take.
Well, I’ve got the same disease. I’m currently amusing myself in the “Brother to join the Forum” thread.
