Speaking to CNN on Sunday, she said she didn’t believe she was influenced by the Russians and said she thought that Friday’s indictment was a ploy to distract from the FBI’s mishandling of tip-offs it had received about the Parkland, Florida school shooter.

I tend to like Jake Tapper, in the grand scheme of things I think he does a decent job - better than most of his colleagues… But this tweet nails it.
We have a four alarm fire, we saw the Joker pour gasoline all over the hospital and toss the match, and he’s running down the street toward the stadium full of people. Instead of stopping him, we’re going to argue about whether his motives were to kill the people in the hospital or cause a distraction to kill the people in the stadium?
Sounds like a debate for another day. Tapper does have a responsibility to report the news, but he needs to put this reporting in better context.

You’re wrong. They don’t give a shit about talking points, they will use that information during the election to authorize national voting emergencies to secure the election for Trump.
They don’t care about post Trump, they care about keeping him in office.
