That’s a tough decision either way. Seems like a reasonable choice, I’d hate to be one of those 14 people possibly dying alone in a Japanese hospital.
Hopefully Trump will forget he’s a germaphope and have a photo op (the real reason he did this shit is because he hopes to get some good press from it) with them and get infected

Obviously it’s a risk but it isn’t an unreasonable decision. And if the administration left those 14 behind that Rupar guy would be tweeting “Trump overrules State department and abandons 14 infected in Japan.”
Not that tough at all. One way you stay with 14 infected people, the other way you risk having 314 infected people arriving at an airport in the US.
