You know, these kinds of misunderstandings happen all the time.
It makes no sense at all. He’s the fucking head of the executive branch. If he wants her fired he calls up his chief of staff, he doesn’t tell his shady-ass Russian buddies. How is Lev Parnas supposed to fire her?

I could not disagree more strongly with Martha McSally that President Trump is above the law.
Despite the catchphrase on TV, Trump never fires someone directly in his entire life. He also doesn’t do things like protocol. He’s so dumb I can’t rule out maybe he thought ukraine had to fire her.
Yeah. If their goal was to fire her, that’s pretty easy, and it certainly doesn’t involve monitoring her every location minute by minute as they were doing.
Perhaps, as an experiment, you should say on twitter or FB that you are going to “take out” trump and see what the “authorities” think it means,
Good idea. I’ll give it a try.
If you never hear from me again, we’ve got our answer!
As an aside can the house just impeach trump again over the Iovanavitch threats? (And other stuff as it comes to light,)
Impeaching him three or four times in a year would be most lol.
they can impeach him 100 times if they wanted to
Lucky for us they decided to just impeach on the two strongest counts so that it would be impossible for Republican Senators to acquit, that plan seems to be working out gangbusters.
I know people love to hate on NPR but that clip is gold. Pompeo is such a tool. I want him under oath as much as I want Bolton.
I wonder if we had stuck to State legislatures appointing Senators instead of directly voting for them if we’d have a more or less partisan group of slappies.
I can’t tell you how many times my associates got me onto the next available flight to ensure my safety once we found out my boss was casually discussing firing me. You’d think they were afraid for my life.
Well! Nevertheless
That conversation reminded me of Henry II‘s „will no one rid me of this turbulent priest“ until I remembered that he had to do public penance after being shamed for his role in the murder of Thomas Becket.
The US hasn‘t just degraded to a medieval system, but below that level of checks and balances.
