There is a reason why the right wing derposphere has been out there warning about deep fakes for the last few years. That way when the tapes/video come out that normally would be the smoking gun those won’t matter either.

If the audio was available I would volunteer to leave a voice mail with the recording at every R senators office. I’ve been calling a few every day. Got a live person for Gardner?-CO. Of course they want to gate keep and ask for a zip code so I spot out my shame on the senator statement and said 00000.

Am I being hopelessly naive here, but when Trump says “Take Her Out” doesn’t he mean to kill her?
(Or is it so blatantly obvious that it need not be explained.)

“Get rid of her!” is what the voice that appears to be President Trump’s is heard saying. “Get her out tomorrow. I don’t care. Get her out tomorrow. Take her out. Okay? Do it.”
That’s one interpretation. It also explains why he’s saying this to a couple of henchmen instead of, say, Mike Pompeo.
In before the recording is validated and released and the R response is “The president has the absolute right to fire any ambassador for any reason. He was elected to drain the swamp and that’s what he’s done. Nothing to see here!”
