I can’t stand the “it’s a political process” bullshit argument.
The only reason it’s differentiated is because it technically is not a legal process. But of course people use the “political process” excuse to justify lawmakers just taking party sides. That’s not what it fucking means.

I certainly don’t want to relive the entire thing here but I can assure you it didn’t turn out this way for everyone. Preet is just the D version of the ‘Land of Laws’ type who on their face seems pretty reasonable and good for society. However once you look under the covers a little they are shady af, make every decision within a lens of political calculus, and probably associate with more unsavories than anyone you know in real life. These kinds of people should be looked down upon by both sides. The only thing I like about him is that he seems as likely to be a knife against out corrupt presidents cohorts as anyone, but it will just be like watching someone you don’t like get pulled over by a cop because their turnsignal is too dim.
