For a couple weeks? A few months? Game this out for me, because the ballot is pretty much locked at this point and Trump being very ill hurts his re-election prospects a lot.

That’s the standard play of team Trump. Take some sort of attempt for him to face consequences that fails and turn it in to “Look at all these mean people going after Dear Leader who is practically killing himself for us”.

Meh, every other we got him moment didn’t work because it relied on our legal system, or our political system, or our media, or the public, to actually “get him.” Covid is reality. He just got hit by a mac truck full of reality and I’m not so sure that Covid isn’t going to “get him” in the end here.

Of all the people who currently have it from the GOPoutbreak, I’d say that Christie is the most likely to die, followed by Trump. Don’t sleep on GIulianni though. has anyone heard anything about him yet?
He did. Mainly to stroke his own ego and mention how much younger than him she is. But he did throw in something about her COVID as well.

Just personally hate’s Trumps guts because he is an abusive incompetent asshole, thinks Trump should hand over power because he is actually incapacitated like Meadows is saying, has no desire to participate in cover-up that will have the opposite effect, and wants Pence in power for as long as he can get him.
If Christie dies of this its going to be hard for Trump to play the “see, virus is no big deal, I beat it, no consequences” game. I get he’l try to play it, but it’ll take some wind out of those sails.
And also thinks Trump is going to lose anyway. Which apparently, most in the GOP do think.
