I’m still not convinced he didn’t test positive like Monday or Tuesday and felt fine so he tried to hide it. Showing up late to the debate and skipping the tests is hella suspect.

Most state laws that bind electors do not contemplate what to do if a candidate dies. Michigan’s law requires electors to vote for the winning candidates who appeared on the ballot. Indiana law, by contrast, states that electors should switch to a party’s replacement if the candidate has died.
In the event of a candidate’s death, the opposing party might challenge in court whether bound electors should be allowed to vote for a replacement, said Lara Brown, the director of the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University.
“The most interesting question is really going to be, how will the Supreme Court handle a controversy like this?” she said.

This came about in a reply to @clovis8 claim that “At best 70/30 he is in oxygen right now.”, which from your reply it seems you may support despite there being no evidence whatsoever for it, other than sometimes some doctors might lie.

Florida Governor Rick Scott this morning, “I tested positive for Covid.”
Later, “Wait, I misspoke, I tested negative.”
Now, “Uh, which one is the good one again?”
50/50? I don’t think the statements mean much of anything at all. They are all quite incentivized to lie to make him look better off than he is.
I’ll believe Trump is healthy the first time he subtweets whatever is on FoxNews.

If he’s on oxygen (because he has severe breathing difficulties) I don’t think they’ll be allowing him to tweet from his phone. It’s possible of course, but unlikely imo.

Being on oxygen is just like that tube in your nose, right? Lots of people are on that all day every day forever. People have portable systems and go about their day like that. My dad was on oxygen for months and, although he didn’t tweet, he easily could have.
