President Trump is having a normal one, doing quite well, not requiring supplemental oxygen. I know when my doctor announces to the world that I don’t need supplemental oxygen that everything is going very smoothly with me, nothing to worry about.

Yeah it’s still a parlay:

Someone gets exposed somewhere. (Keep in mind people can engage in risky or somewhat risky behavior for months without catching it.)

They contract it.

Their ~48 hour window of being contagious but not testing positive falls on a weekday, or they work 6-7 days a week. OR they get a false negative.

They spread it to numerous people at work, including high level staffers.

The timing aligns to create a super spreader event.
We’ve had a few cases pop up at the WH here or there but none got to #4, they were pretty contained.
The main point is that they’ve been vulnerable for months and it was a numbers game. It could also have been anyone who went through the meet and greet line with ACB and also greeted a WH staffer, who then was in on the indoor meetings, flights, senior staff meetings, debate prep, etc, and it started going around.
And this is why mask usage is so key. Good mask compliance reduces the risk of jumping from 3 to 4 and from 4 to 5 significantly.
We’re also probably never going to know for sure how this all started because their behavior was so horrifically bad and created so many opportunities for spread that you can’t even begin to trace it.
It’s like the scene in Contagion where they use the security footage, but instead of smear transmission and a handful of possibilities you are trying to trace airborne transmission with tons of mingling in enclosed spaces without masks, on planes, etc, and senior staffers, senators, and cabinet officials all up on each other like crazy.
The lack of a comma there really threw me for a moment.

This seems conspiratorial to some degree, but also lines up really well with the way today unfolded.
Trump finds it hard to walk a significant distance and breathing is uncomfortable without oxygen rich air. The entire focus of the day becomes engineering a way for him to leave the WH while looking normal.
He clearly wasn’t on death’s door, and didn’t use this as an occasion to dunk on the libs. This seems like a plausible explanation.

Thanks, was able to talk to her for like 10 seconds. She had to use the restroom and was going to call back but never did. Hopefully she just fell asleep, I texted her and no response. But at least I got to hear her voice and know she’s doing reasonably well for now. No fever and no cough for her thankfully, so the likelihood it’s covid should be low, but the initial pulse ox and hallucinations are scary.
If something happens to her because my Dad wasn’t being careful because CDC guidelines were relaxed because Trump wanted to help the economy to help his re-election, well, I can’t finish this sentence. My rage will be through the roof.

You can definitely see something on the closeup of his head that looks like tubing for O2.
Imagine all the best west wing staffers in there trying to rig this up and conceal it and nobody thought hey dummy wear the AF1/Marine One jacket with the collar that comes up and it’ll hide all of it.
Imagine them spending hours trying to tape the tube to him, run it up through his clothes, have a tailor open up the pocket so it can go through the inside.
Meanwhile there’s like a maid or WH usher who he treats like shit snickering thinking, “Just wear the jacket asshole! How many Ivy League degrees that daddy bought does it take to realize you just add an extra layer???”

I looked at a few different pictures and I’m leaning towards this being an optical illusion. Just a wrinkle in the jacket, a long strand of gray hair, and any random thing in his pocket.
