On one hand, I assume the POTUS gets every kind of novel antibody treatment NIH can cook up, so I kinda expect he pulls a Weinstein and survives despite his terrible health. OTOH, sitting out of two weeks of campaigning a month before the election is far from ideal, to say nothing of the optics of the guy in charge of the COVID response pozzing out because he can’t do basic social distancing. .

Very very rich people often have bad healthcare outcomes because they get whatever they want and overrule doctors. Trump could well be extreme in this regard. He knows better. He picks doctors he thinks are smart (ie they are dumb).

All I know is that Weinstein and Berlusconi and Boris Johnson pozzed and survived, so I have very little hope Trump will succumb because assholes seem to do okay with the COVID.
