Evidently he lives in Palm Beach, or has a house there, where he formerly was hired to manage the town of Palm Beach’s pension. Which is incredible because he made virtually all his money as a corporate raider fitting pension plans.

While I understand the argument for this, I think the likes are a really beneficial feature of the site. Not only do they prevent piling on, but they help when scanning threads quickly to see which posts may be worth reading more carefully. I know I’ve almost skipped some tldr posts but when I see 24 hearts I’ll take the time to read it thoughtfully.

This is a great line of attack.
In the military? He thinks you’re a sucker.
Pay more than $750 in taxes? He thinks you’re a sucker.
Believe he’s a Christian? He thinks you’re a sucker.
This is the first president in American history to think that most Americans are suckers. Don’t fall for it.
Trump will say he never said Christians are suckers, you say “No your sister said it… Let me guess, she’s another sucker?”

The only reason I can think of (other than ldo incompetence, which is always in play) that the religious angle hasn’t been hit is that maybe it doesn’t play well in focus groups. The guy was fake rage-tweeting about how horrible it was that churches were closed, or going to be closed, at Easter because of Covid, and then the very next Sunday when the churches near DC opened up for services he…played golf instead of attending services. That’s a trivially easy and hilariously obvious line of attack there, and I’ve yet to see it even mentioned by basically anyone.

I agree. Actually ideally we’d set up an option to not view your own likes or to only see them like once a week or something and then see your most liked posts.
Doesn’t matter If he loses Catholics and other Christians he can still rely on the Muslim community for support - he’s done more for them than anyone with the possible exception of Lincoln … or something like that.

If the election was to go to congress does the house and senate vote? Is it just a total vote meaning dems would have the majority?
Maybe he overheard them whispering in hipster coffee shops.
Just the house, but each state delegation gets one vote so with the current house Rs would have the majority.

Unfortunately there seems to be some dumb rule about each state’s Federal “house delegation” voting amongst themselves to total 50 votes. The Repubs have the advantage in house delegations obviously.
