The Pozzidency of Donald J. Trump: Typhoid Donnie's Slow Hypoxic Demise **Sweat Thread** (updated 100x/minute)

The point was, he was a Trump appointee and ruled against him

I totally agree. There will be no common understanding of this until the waves of retirees start running out of money and looking for bailouts. Get ready for thousands of “look at these poor souls, they are in their 70s and their money ran out and the bank wants their house what’s to be done about this injustice” stories.

I’m fine doing on honor system. Booked

The answer should be, “Here’s some cat food. Good luck.”

It won’t be. They’re going to fuck us all the way until they die, and leave us with a literally scorched earth.

Well, that’s gonna be the answer for the non-white impoverished retirees. The white boomers are going to push hard for end of life bailouts. And they’ll probably get them.

Joined a group on FB about protesting to stop the appointment. Lots of people but not a lot of good ideas yet.

What about busses for people from all over the country if everyone has an N95? Still too dangerous right?

When did Harry do this? Wasn’t it before Lindsey made his principled stance on not giving a vote on Garland?

You guys probably need to have an understanding on what filled means.

Passes vote in senate? Sworn in?

It’s the best we’ve got, I think. Roll down the windows, hope for the best. At least most of us still have some form of healthcare, for now.

I continue to think the only chance we’ve got is Democratic senators escorting protesters into the Senate and letting them blockade it, but it needs to be done on the day of the vote so they don’t have time to adjust in advance.

LOL

So, at least some of you have ready access to the deplorable mindset through facebook and such.

What does the deplorable next door think of Mitch, et al.'s hypocrisy?

  1. Not hypocritical
  2. Hypocritical, but don’t care
  3. Other

I’m guessing there are a lot more in group 2 than 1. Not that it matters, but I’m just curious.

Yeah, it think it was in, like, 2009 or something, when Senate Republicans blocked any and all Obama judicial nominations via the filibuster.

Reasons make it fine.

So, that had already happened at the time Lindsey made his principled statement.

My only source of knowledge on this is breaking bad, but isn’t that a fairly difficult thing to make?

Is that 2 or 3. other?
