He’s got him on fucking tape in January admitting he knows just how bad COVID is going to be while simultaneously telling teh public it’s NBD, and admitting to Woodward that he is deliberately downplaying it. I haven’t gotten completely caught up, but why do I think these “bombshell tapes” will somehow be spun, with the media lapping it up, as “See, the Dems said Trump didn’t take the virus seriously, but here he is on tape showing how concerned he is was early on! Yeah I hear you and don’t really dispute it. The observation was really more around the fact that there are long term implications of many policy decisions. By contrast, Donnie Dumb Dumb is overseeing the immediate deaths of Americans so the emotional reaction is more visceral.
