Definitely has me wondering. The size and shape could have been a hospital bed.

So basically, there’s a non-zero chance the virus knocks 40 pounds off him and gives him several doses of the first good night’s sleep he’s had in years, to emerge two weeks from now looking ten years younger and mentally sharper than he’s been for at least two decades? Just saying, I’ve learned over the years to anticipate plot twists and I don’t know who thinks the writers are ultimately on our side.
