Poppy had scared the piss out of many a larger dog on the walking the trail. Our worry is one of the big dogs will react to her suddenly.
She ain’t scared of nobody.
Hard part is she was with big dogs in a foster. The big dogs would play fight with her and let her “win” so she has an over inflated sense of herself.
But cuddly as all get out with us.

Steroids. Anti clotting meds. B12 shots. Very restricted diet. Pretty much variations of the same product for food and treats and medicine base. Adjust as per the biopsy results.
Been stressed out all day. Really since we scheduled a couple of weeks ago.

Late to the thread. This is my pupper. Got her when she was two years old. My crazy ex brought her home one day. Apparently she just saw her on the street and she just jumped in my ex’s car. and I didn’t like her much because I didn’t like small dogs, the ones I’d known always barked and were a pain in the ass. She was super, super chill though, didn’t bark at all. I spend some time looking for the owner but after a few months gave up.
She was super loving. When we broke up I kept the dog because I was the only one who took care of it.
I loved her so much. She legit got me over some super hard times in my life. Some horrible heartbreaks where a woman I loved did some horrible shit to me. But she was always there to lick my face and wag her tail and cheer me up and sleep in the bed right next to me.
She’s 16 now. A few weeks ago she developed a horrible cough so we took her in. Looks like she has a very enlarged heart that is causing fluid to enter her lungs. We got her on medicine now, but shes super lethargic and sleeps maybe 12 hours a day. Can’t walk down the stairs into the yard now and I gotta carry her. Still goes on walkies but not very far. I know my time with her is super limited, I’m amazed she’s still doing pretty well for her age. Gonna absolutely fucking kill me when she passes

She also add she’s a lady magnet like no other. Every single girl I brought home absolutely fucking loved her. Even let her lick their faces. Was thrilled to have her sleep in the bed with us. All the girls at the park wanted to talk to me and pet her.
I think my extreme enthusiasm for my dog was very attractive to women.

Edit: Obviously had to kick her out when it was time to get down to business and they would feel terrible and demand we let her back in immediately after because she’d be sitting with her nose under the door like a fucking creep.

My last dog before this Aussie was like that for me. Got me through some dark times in a break up with a girl who I lived together with for a few years. We found the dog together and then after I did all the work she wanted the dog when we broke up and I said nah.
Yep we lived together for 5 years. Even moved in with me when I had to move in to take care of moms. I loved her a lot, but she turned out to be a very bad person who did some evil shit to me. So it was really brutal for me and I struggled so man, but Kenya doggy made it ok most of the time.

People used to do things like wrap those wind up alarm clocks and hot water bottles in towels. Don’t know if that worked. Maybe these days you could try a smart phone with a white noise app instead of the clock.

Grats! Aussies are working dogs. Not sure if that’s a mini or full size but they will need mental and physical stimulation almost regularly. Mine is 10 years old and goes all day still.

Me and my best friend went on a dope as hike with a lil aussie. He’s been going through a lot, huge heartbreak from his girl who he was with for 10 years and still lives with breaking up with him. She got him the dog as like something to have after the breakup. Crushed him.
The lil aussie handled the trails like an absolute boss. This is him ready for steak bites and the biggest nap ever lol

I have an Aussie granddog. As soon as I show up he knows it’s time for the fabric frisbee. His dumb parents went and had a couple of kids and don’t have as much time for him though they did move him out into the sticks which he likes.

I have to take my dog to the vet. He’s really listless, isn’t jumping up on my bed and yelps out of the blue. I’m really scared tbh. He’s old but I am not ready to lose him.
