If you have cats, you probably know about Halo’s dehydrated chicken treats. It’s basically kitty crack. Well, apparently they changed the formula/packaging recently, and it is receiving nearly unanimous 1-star reviews (on Amazon).
Why are companies so stupid? They had hoards of loyal customers who have had this on auto-order for 10-15 years, who now won’t touch it.
Anybody have a recommended treat their cats love? We also use Temptations. The dehydrated chicken was great, though, for crushing over their food.

For anyone who has had to put their cat under anesthesia, does it fuck them up for a few days?
My cat needed teeth cleaning extraction yesterday. Shes had one prior surgery and the after results are similar today as they were last time.
She cant sleep. Its an odd side effect and wonder if anyone has similar experiences. Last time she was awake for about 48 hours after the initial anesthesia wore off and shes doing it again. She sat upright behind our TV all last night.
Two days of sleep is more like the experience here.
Yeah, same experience here (as Danspartan), where normally the exhaustion and trauma of the vet visit zonks them out for a while.
Could it be that she’s in pain/discomfort from the extraction? Is she getting pain meds?
She is, isnt showing any other signs of pain. Eating and drinking normally. loving on everyone normally.
It did with one of my dogs last summer, did the teeth cleaning thing and he was off for a day or two and also had awful diarrhea for the next 4-5 days. Liquid shit all over.
Ha. My wife just had a big box of old reels donated from a prominent local family that we can’t watch until converted. Many are clearly vacation footage so the first one converted was Martha Vineyard in tbe 50s. But the one we want to see is something labeled “dogs summer fete”. Did the rich folk have a fancy dog party???

This is exactly what we want rich people to do. A Federal law mandating that rich people actually pay the taxes they owe and throw parties for dogs would probably have something like an 83% approval rating. Only the hopelessly evil sociopathic members of society like selfish billionaires and cat people would object.

The bird identification tech is bad lol. If the bird is straight on it seems relatively accurate, but if the picture is from the side it takes some wild guesses.
I hooked a random 3rd-party solar panel to ours instead of buying their solar roof, in case you end up ordering one.
Lol. The shelter said it would heal but that was almost 9 years ago and basically he’s got something wonky on that side so he snores and wheezes and sneezes snot everywhere, every day.
Cats are so perfect.
