One of my best friends started dating a guy who is big into shrimp as pets. I had no idea this sub culture existed but it’s huge!
Yeah. Some can cost as much as $800 for caridina shrimp from top breeders.
Our cats are of the same age and I have the same fears. My wife is going to be devastated when it happens.

This is Hunter coming home from his puppy cut. Pure bred Golden my brother bought for my nephew. About 4yo now.
Dog doors allow him to wander the farm as he pleases. Checks on everyone every day.
Ball is his first love.

Its ok. He’s had a great life and been a great companion. We’re going to do chemo and see what happens, side effects are rare/not bad apparently. Its expensive but with 2 incomes and no kids this is what you do.

This is Molly. She’s a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix rescue pup. She’ll be 7 in October. She is the gentlest dog and is amazing with our daughter. She still loves to play and show off how fast she can run.
This is Carl. He just showed up at our door as a kitten. I think someone dropped him off. He will also be 7 next month. He is a chunk at 22 pounds. We have to lock him on our patio at night or he starts screaming for food at 4am. Molly and Carl have been together since they were puppies and kittens and they play fight like kids. At least Molly is playing, Carl is probably trying his best to murder Molly.

This is Winnie who just turned 3 on August 8th and this is how she looked last year
Her hair started getting kind of spotty and very rough around the beginning of the year. After taking her to a dermatologist we found out she has an issue with a gland that produces the oils to keep her coat nice and soft, my sister did most of the vet stuff so I don’t know what the exact gland or condition is but they said it happens to golden doodles and it’s really a cosmetic issue. They gave us some pills for her to take and her coat is back to being almost like before except the color changed a little darker

I took Biology 101 when I was thinking about changing careers and the instructor discussed genetics and how similar our genetics are to apes and the chick sitting next to me argued that the difference between humans and apes is that apes don’t have souls. The teacher was like, umm, ok, lets move on.
