Lab puppy ears are so soft!
Mother nature does it so well. Making babies/puppies/kittens so cute we fall so in love we forgive all the little trangressions they make down the track.

They are so cute at puppy stage you don’t care and if trained well, by the time they are just out of toddler stage they basically take care of you or just need to be fed and walked and played with.

My last 2 dogs were fully grown shelter dogs. One was so raw it was pretty much training from puppy stage though. Luckily I’m a sucker for all ages of dogs. They’re just so lovely.

Just takes some time and attention. I’ve mentioned it in this thread already but clicker training is great. Used on dolphins also.
Stupid cat goes out into 20 degree F weather and stares at birbs obv.

I had this orange tabby that stayed out for days at a time on my grandparents’ farm. Would literally be gone a half a week and we were like she will come back whenever. Then, she would jump up on the screen of the storm door and stare in the kitchen window when she did want in. She was a bad bitch and ran many tom cats out of the yard. She got knocked up a few times though so obviously found a few buddies.

Nice. This one looked like Morris from the food commercials basically and was a mean bitch. I’m not saying she really did this because we don’t know for sure but there was a fox dead one morning in the farm yard when we had just got a puppy collie and the dog was locked in the barn for the night.
She had a mentally challenged pure white kitten that just couldn’t take care of itself mostly. I don’t know how to explain it. I saw multiple tom cats come into the farm yard and fuck with him and the orange tabbie would fuck them up and you would never see them again in the yard. I’m rambling about cats now. That joint worked.

I kind of feel like an asshole for looking for another rescue that is young and not wanting old ones. I wish I could get them all.

Old dogs are so nice. I really have a soft spot for them. My bf wants a puppy for our next dog but I was hoping to adopt a senior. Maybe we get both.
