Bumpus used to herd our toddler (who is almost 14 now.) He’d be trying to run across the front yard and she’d cut him off. Drove him nuts with frustration.
Zoomies! Hilarious to watch, just straight up Canine Yolo’ing.
Can you tell if it really helps?
Bumpy when she first came to us. She’s had a life-long phobia of exiting vehicles. I assume this is trauma from being dumped out in the country.
Do you leave the harness on all the time?
We keep the harness on our pup ~90% of the time for the exact same reason. She’s growing ridiculously fast too so we may need to upsize shortly–I’m worried about the current harness irritating her armpits (legpits?).
The main issue our dog seems to have with that is that she gets matted fur in her armpits. So if she’s wearing her harness a lot we monitor for that and comb out / shave down the fur as needed.
In another update on my grandkitty Luna, my daughter sent the following picture with the caption When the catnip hits.
She layed there like that for 10 minutes.
God, that photo of her upstairs at neighbors is so good. I love all your pet photos everyone. They are the best. Can’t wait to see more goofyballer pup pics and I’m going to try to adopt one if I can work out the travel and times.
This guy I think would fit with my family and looks like a little asshole meaning he’d fit right in. This guy is available for rescue adoption. 1-2 year old estimated. I’ve only owned females in my life. They like their distance and separation. I’ve heard males are needy af.
I want another Aussie or German type shepherd.
So we adopted two stray puppies, part of a litter dumped in a friend’s neighborhood. We said we’d take 'em both and give one away, but that idea died the first day. This pic is from about three weeks ago. They are growing fast and continue to look like labs. Sweet and rambunctious. Both males. Bumpus is a grumpus, occasionally playing with them, but usually ignores, growls, or snaps.
He looks like he’s saying “What DID I DO?”
Nice, how long did it take? Our pup was calm right up until we actually got shampoo on her and then proceeded to freak out while we were trying to rinse. Gotta take it slower next time.
My dog is almost 9 years old and still flees if anyone says “bath”.
Our yorkie loves the water. He swims in our pool and in any pond or lake he can get into, and doesn’t mind a bath at all. Do most dogs not like water?
Our dog loves to play in water but hates baths.
Reminds me of this old lolcat:
We were switching out the sheets and pillowcases tossing everything around and I looked over and saw a disembodied Poppy head.
Wow. You hit the jackpot.
