Man, the Devils in this series look like what we expected the Devils to look like at the start of the season. Vanecek just doesn’t seem ready for the big time yet.

Huge difference in this game is the Devils iced the puck a ton less than in the first two games.
Subban with his Devils Nature Boy gimmick was great. His Wooooooo needs a little more work though
Usually this season when the Rangers have a bad period and are forcing too many risky passes then Gallant will mix the lines up a bit to try to change the dynamic. He might try that here.

They look great for small spurts and then look so overmatched.
Ever since I cut cable ages ago I barely catch knicks and rangers games, so I don’t know how recent it is but there’s something about how the msg home rink looks these days that makes I seem like an away game. Either it’s the digital ads around the boards or something they are doing with the lighting, but I looks grayer and more bleak than I remember it looking.
Might have been the crowd over the last two games. Fucking dismal. Yeah the Rangs didnt play great, but its a 1 goal game pretty much for two games straight. Make some fucking noise. The Devils crowd had more hype and they got blown out twice in a row.
Devils have been enemy #1 in my Rangers fandom since 94, but I assume everyone is going to get assassinated by the Bruins this year so I’m already thinking about next season, but yeah it looked and sounded pretty dead tonight.
