If you need to read a hostage statement word for word….
Guys it was just a mistake, c’mon!
More ridiculous statements, this time from ownership.
Oth, Stevie Y is wheeling and dealing. LGRW!
An Instagram account, appearing to belong to Kane’s wife, Anna, posted in a story: “How does the NHL let a compulsive gambling addict still play when he’s obviously throwing games to win money? Hmm maybe someone needs to address this.”
In a separate story post, Anna Kane accused her husband of spending lavishly partying in Europe while asking her to sell her wedding ring to survive and wrote about not being able to afford baby formula for their child.
How did he throw games? By not running Martin Jones in practice?
Is there enough interest here for a friendly pool? I’m even up for a free Yahoo pool if there is enough interest.

Thats the perfect fucking picture for a seattle team
Don’t know anything about hockey. What’s the expectation this season for the Kraken?
I also know nothing about hockey, but it looks like they’re hanging around the bottom third of the league.
There are two problems with how Seattle started—1) Vegas, the recent previous new team, has crushed as a starting franchise, 1st season they were runner ups, playoffs every year, last season they were a MAF Gaffe from the finals and 2) Seattle blew their initial team set-up. I’m the biggest Ron Francis fan (the GM), as a player, but I dont see how their initial setup is not a disappointment. They do benefit by playing in the Pacific where the CA teams are all rebuilding, Van has a moronic GM, and the Alberta teams, have some talent especially Edmonton with the best player and a top 5-7 player, but are pretty fragile. I predict mediocrity and no playoffs next year.
Wings will not be that bad this year. I believe in Stevie Y. I think they will clear 80 pts and be bottom tier playoff contenders in 22-23.
Betonline has ou for Seattle at 92.5 and Detroit 77.5. That makes no sense to me. I was not impressed with the Kraken picks. They were nowhere as aggressive wheeling and dealing as Vegas was a few years ago.
Fun fact- since moving to Philly 9 years ago we have seen 16 red wing games. We are 1-15 with the only win in Buffalo when Buffalo was trying to lose. We’ve also been to Boston, NYR, NYI, And DC once each. 3 NYJ and the rest PHL. PIT is the plan this winter.
I’m a Pens fan, I do know one of these years the Pens and/or the Caps will fade, but…not sure about putting the Rangers above both. Sure NYI, CAR probably, but they don’t got their Dougie anymore.
Leafs seem high.
Panthers and Jets low, Montreal too high.
RELEASED
I go in expecting nothing and also to still be disappointed.
Holy shit what happened to the Sharks?
Pittsburgh has some serious injury problems heading into the season. Malkin is out long term and Crosby will be starting the season late recovering from wrist surgery. That should drag them down a bit. But they’d be a good candidate to sneak into the playoffs and then have a rested Malkin back and make a run. Washington is in some trouble, they’re an aging lineup and Backstrom seems like he might be fucked.
NY is probably overrated here but they have an enviable young core. Shesterkin is already good and likely to be better. Kakko and Lafreniere are candidates to break out. Nils Lundqvist and K’Andre Miller are both top defense prospects. Kravtsov, and Chyitl are both good young players. They are set up to have that whole core emerge at the same time. Other than Shesterkin, every single one of them is under 23.
Right after I posted this I learned Guentzel is missing the start of the season with COVID. Oof.
