Red Zone has made watching full games impossible for me

For me it wasn’t even red zone. Just the ability to watch multiple games at the same time on several screens it huge change. Redzone is the icing on the cake. Most Thursdays/Sunday/Monday nights, I record and blow through or I have them on in the background while I’m barely paying attention and doing something else.

Honestly my favorite way to watch football games.

:frowning:. Hopefully his body is OK enough for a good non-football life.

@Riverman your boy art modell is a finalist for the hof… if he gets in, we going to canton to boo/piss on everything?

Kyler’s contract includes an “independent study addendum.” Murray will need to study “material provided to him by the Club in order to prepare for the Club’s next upcoming game.” Murray will receive “credit” for completing his film study, according to the contract. However, the addendum states the time that Murray spends in mandatory meetings studying does not count and that Murray also won’t receive credit if he does not “personally study the provided material in good faith.”

Murray will not get credit if he’s not studying or watching the material while it plays on his tablet or if he’s doing something that can distract him or draw his attention elsewhere while the material is playing, such as playing video games, watching TV or browsing the internet. Failure to meet the addendum’s requirements will mean Murray will “be deemed to be in default” of his contract, per the wording in the agreement.

Mahomes said he wouldn’t go as far as to say Black quarterbacks are evaluated differently than their white counterparts. But he did say he found it interesting that only Black quarterbacks are subject to certain types of criticism.

"Obviously, the Black quarterback has had to battle to be in this position that we are to have this many guys in the league playing,‘’ Mahomes said Friday after the Kansas City Chiefs concluded a training camp practice. "Every day, we’re proving that we should have been playing the whole time. We’ve got guys that can think just as well as they can use their athleticism. It’s always weird when you see guys like me, Lamar [Jackson], Kyler kind of get that on them when other guys don’t. But at the same time we’re going out there to prove ourselves every day to show we can be some of the best quarterbacks in the league.‘’

GMAFB.

2nd biggest QB contract in the league with nothing to show for in the playoffs. I’m curious how we even know about the clause to begin with.

Almost certainly leaked by the team

What motivation would they have to do that? I’m not even trying to argue, I’m legitimately curious.

Pressure him to actually do part of his job?

Leaking seems like a terrible idea for either side. But sports teams aren’t always well run.

Maybe what they are doing down in Miami can open up a new offensive paradigm for mobile qbs.

Rapoport went through the contract and found it

Rapoport explained that an official contract enters a portal that can be accessed with the right sources. The reason for Rapoport’s digging through the contract was for the baseball clause in Murray’s contract, and that’s when he also came across the study clause.

Rapoport called Murray’s agent to make sure this was a real thing, and it indeed was, which brought on him sharing it Monday afternoon.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars signed veteran kicker Elliott Fry on Friday and cut rookie Andrew Mevis, who wildly missed three field goal attempts during training camp warm-ups – including one that hit former Dallas Cowboys head coach Dave Campo.

Mevis was fine in college, but you can’t keep nervous as heck kickers around like that (I assume that’s why there were so many shanks anyway) or his only shot at the NFL is over and that sucks for him not even getting some preseason kicks even though he probably wasn’t going to make any team
