It was always headed to 18 games at some point.
Yeah I was thinking 2025 season at the latest. Shorter preseason, two bye weeks, SB on President’s Day weekend. Probably owners and fans happy, players indifferent at worst.
Seems extremely unlikely to happen before the next CBA. I’m sure the owners will push for it then and the players will cave as usual.
