Jimmy G is that tier of QB where you sort of want to upgrade but it’s really easy to backslide going to the wrong guy. I’m not sold in Lance but apparently the 9ers like him. Also injury issues.
Not sure I agree entirely with the methodology, but it’s an interesting concept and way to look at what teams are doing.
Ones that stand out are Browns, Dolphins, and Saints being all-in with mediocre teams (although I for Browns that’s mostly Watson and Saints have been all-in now probably for the last 10 years).
On the other side it’s pretty impressive and explains their long-term stability that Ravens are near the bottom of this list. Hard to call them a dynasty without more rings, but their run the last 20 year is damn impressive - especially given their lack of a top QB for most of the run.
ravens have always been a model franchise, always competitive, rarely do anything really stupid (though they have torched draft picks like every other team, just not to the WTF level like say the Jets) If Lee Evans doesn’t drop that ball probably have another ring from that era too, don’t knee jerk fire coaches, etc.
Chicago’s OL is going to be better than people think but idk if it’s gonna be good enough to dodge the narrative that they are the worst cause even 10 worst people will still say that as this offense doesn’t have much talent at TE/WR/etc compared to every other team.
The Left tackle is a rookie fifth rounder but he’s holding up okay, Tevin Jenkins they just moved to right guard as he’s a power guard not a finesse/zone type they’re moving to this season but he’s looking like he’s gonna win that spot, Reiff is a backup tackle right now and he’s not bad though I wonder if they let him go cause they did sign him to start (and he thought so too).
basically rook, whitehair (who did regress a bit last season but isn’t bad or anything), anything better at center cause last season was awful, jenkins who will fit in much better than last season as a power right guard, and borom filled in ok last year at tackle and he’s the starting right tackle
this isn’t gonna be the worst in the league, I think they’ll be functional, Fields has to go faster with reads though this season now that he’s had a year, we’ll see.
I mean the news reporter clearly doesn’t believe what he’s saying. He’s only saying what he thinks most Baltimore fans will believe. Guy can say anything with the same indignant tone.
Art Modell was a slumlord piece of shit and I’m happy he’s dead.
LOL at Donald being done for the season. Why would it be in the interests of the NFL or the Rams to do that? Camp fights are thing in every camp for every team every year. Maybe NFL teams need to cool it with the joint practices if players can’t keep it together but what is tolerated in training camp versus what would be tolerated in a game have never been close to the same. Guys around the league who are throwing punches are usually just pulled apart and told to cool down or at worst sent home for the day. Swinging a helmet is worse but not that much worse.
