Tennessee sucks. They had a negative DVOA and I’m highly skeptical that adding a running back, even the best one in a decade, is going to move the needle all that much. There’s a reason they’re barely favored at home vs an average Cinci team

No idea why that replied to suzzer. Whatever, Chiefs are the luckiest franchise ever and get generous whistles all the time.

Ducks

Luckiest franchise ever?

We didn’t win a playoff game for 20 years and a home playoff game for almost 30.

We lost a playoff game where we led 28-0 when Luck picked up a fumble and ran it in, after our top two running backs (Jamaal Charles) and top cornerback all went out with injuries.

We lost a playoff game where Marcus Mariotta completed a pass to himself and Jeff Tripplette made one of the worst calls in NFL history (and Kelce went out in the first quarter to concussion).

We lost a playoff game where James Harrison flopped.

We lost a playoff game because Dee Ford was offsides and we lost the OT coin flip.

We lost a playoff game because of a phantom holding penalty on Dave Szott.

We lost the longest NFL game of all time when our HOF kicker missed multiple chances to win it.

We lost a playoff game where our kicker missed three easy FGs.

We lost a playoff game where no one punted.

We lost our starting LT in the AFCCG last year.

It all runs together but it seems like every playoff run in the Reid era before 2018 - we had key injuries either on the last game of the season or early in the actual playoff game.

We lost home field advantage this year due to a shitload of spurious DPI and defensive holding in the Cincy game, that even most national pundits were bitching about.

I’m not saying the Chiefs get more than their share of bad calls - at least not now with Mahomes. But I don’t think the refs are exactly favoring us either. The two times in recent memory I can remember national pundits complaining about the refs in a Chiefs game was the Cincy game this year and the Superbowl last year. Oh yeah and of course the Jeff Triplette game.

Anyway, if anyone wants to give me odds on the Titans making the SB I’ll take it. I think the national media is sleeping on them. Everyone says they suck and they just keep winning, even w/o Henry.

Titans are a super who the heck knows team game to game, I get knocked out of survivor taking the #1 AFC team to beat the Jets for gosh sakes. and they lost to the texans once

and crushed teh chiefs and won a shootout against the bills

The Bills are the best team though in the AFC, we’ll see. Gotta outscore them I guess (and the bills lost to urban meyer ffs NFL is hard)

Wow! Were the Jaguars really in the AFC Championship game 4 years ago?

They were the new hotness. Dominant defense. Gonna punch through the next year.

Talked a lot of trash about the Chiefs before their early season meeting in 2018. Mahomes crushed their souls and they were never the same.

If you can swing it I highly recommend it. I was able to go the cowboys Super Bowls in the 90s and great memories.

Yup, sounds horrible.

I don’t feel bad for you.

Suzzer,

C’mon man.

By far the most consistent ref nonsense is packers getting every call at home

the horror of having Joe Montana and Patrick Mahomes and haven’t lost to the broncos since 2015

Does he think he made an actual point here? What a dope.

so silenced he’s forced to go on pat mcafee’s show every week for hours and say whatever he wants

That was over a 50 year period. There was 15 years with no playoffs in the 70s/80s.

I wish people would pay attention to the start of these exchanges. I never said Chiefs were the unluckiest franchise. That’s clearly the Lions or Browns. I just took issue with the assertion that they were the luckiest.
