I get that but Jerry Jones is as deplorable as it gets. Jeffrey Lurie is probably one of if not the most liberal owners in the NFL, he was behind the players protesting during the anthem. Jones doesn’t allow any of that.

It’s hard to find any NFC North fans that really root against the Lions (I think). Their opinion is mostly “LOL Lions”.
Cards aren’t that bad, but I figured it would be similar.
As a Bengals fan, I want to finally beat San Francisco in a Super Bowl. Can’t root for the Eagles because I like Santa Claus. When I have no obvious rooting interest, I like to root for whoever the networks don’t want.

I meant more in terms of fumble risk - Fournette’s been good at that and Vaughn’s gotta be an unknown.
It could work in TB’s favor - maybe they won’t do as many useless first down runs. Won’t affect their play action game as Leftwich and Arians don’t know what play action is.

I think people have just written the Eagles off as having no shot. Actually beat Bucs and Packers and they’ll get love.
Cardinals have more of a feel of “underdog, but with a shot”.
Only 5 losing seasons since 2007 with a Super Bowl appearance and another NFC championship game appearance in that time, so they’re not that bad in recent memory. Rivalry only dates back to 2002, so they were only really a joke that was relevant to me for 6 seasons.
My issue w eagles are they have beaten zero teams w a winning record this year. Not one.
That’s a problem in the playoffs.
Plus I hate the eagles.

Fair enough. I still think Eagles are a better team for you to pull for than the fucking Cowboys. Cuse makes the case pretty convincingly.

Lots of people used to hate the Eagles because of Vick and the dogfighting. But I’d guess that specific cause of hatred has waned substantially.
