The National Football League

texans fire culley

nobody on earth would’ve won more than 6 with that team but whatever

Weird the black overachieving coaches keep getting fired

I think Tua is and always has been slightly the best of those three, just not good enough to overcome the worst pass blocking in football. Also think Bryce Young is capped below Tua at this point, but they keep drawing the top talent at every position so I suspect they’ll eventually land a future HOF caliber player.

I assume Brian Flores is headed to Houston. If Watson is in love with playing for him, maybe that solves that problem.

Just need to solve the problem of Watson’s 20+ assaults.

(I still think he never plays again, but no one ever went broke underestimating the NFL).

The Large Ben assaults were over a decade ago, it’s thankfully a different time now. We’ve got 20+ women here, versus 2 for Roethlisberger, and many of them have made public statements we didn’t get in the Large Ben case, and there’s evidence floating around from Watson’s own texts.

I dunno, I’m prepared to be disappointed. Never bet on the NFL doing the right thing, I suppose. The stuff on Watson is overwhelming that he is a complete scum bag. There’s no “maybe” a franchise can hide behind here.

“Is it perfect? Of course not. Is it generally accurate? Sure.”

ONE OF US. ONE OF US.

Also said (allegedly) that Flores repeatedly gave Stills shit/trolled him for kneeling; was so “shocked” by how Tua had gotten himself in shape last season that he ordered multiple PED tests on him.

Sounds like the locker room cancer in Miami was the head coach. Good riddance.

Lots of team unity over in Pittsburgh. Gotta love the heroic leadership of Ben Roethlisberger. Whoever posted that column just trashing the shit out of him, that was a great read!

He isn’t wrong.

Not surprising for a guy who called HEADS in OT of a must-win game.

I think I was like 13 when we were in Florida and my dad took me to a bar to watch Marino’s last game where Miami got absolutely crushed, by like 60 against the Jags. We can all only hope Ben gets the same send off tomorrow night.

Bengals’ last playoff win was Jan 6 (!), 1991 in the wildcard round, 41-14 against the Oilers (I think I may have been at that game). Their 31-year playoff losing streak was started the following week by the Raiders. The next playoff appearance wasn’t until 2006 which kicked off a string of 7 straight playoff losses under Marvin Lewis. Is this the beginning of a new era???

Pulling for bengals and bills.

Yeah, those are pretty obvious for teams to root for once your team is out. Hoping eventually for Bills over, ugh, guess it has to be Cowboys since one of those teams has to come out of the NFC.

Hoping…for Cowboys?!?

Seahawks fan gonna Seahawks fan.

Cowboys is 100% the wrong answer for reasonable neutrals. Any NFC West team in the playoffs is less objectional than that. Cardinals are probably the best choice.

Bengals / Cardinals are my wants. Somebody here has a Bengals / Cowboys Super Bowl prop so that’s cool too I guess.

Neutrals should back Tampa. What has a Tom Brady team ever done to offend Seattle?

The Eagles have a chance to eliminate Brady and Rodgers back to back on the road, as loveable underdogs. How do you not root for them out of the NFC just for the Brady/Rodgers pain alone?

They shipped one pretty recently.

Would still love for them to win those two games, though.
