The National Football League

Yeah, that allergy thing, in particular, was total bullshit. If he really does have an allergy to an ingredient (which I’ve read is very rare), all he had to do was say that and that would’ve been that. But since he launched into all the other crap, the allergy part was clearly false.

Plus he’d be keenly aware of exactly what it was he was allergic to. And he’d explain how he knew he was allergic. I had a reaction to penicillin that put me in the hospital when I was 17. So I’m taking no chances with that stuff even though I may not be allergic to it today. And I’ve got nothing against penicillin in general for people that aren’t allergic.

I didn’t want the Lions claiming him. Now I sort of do.

I didn’t realize that Rodgers had gone to the “woke PC culture” well a week before on the McAfee pod - after the “I own you” comments versus the Bears, which I think were universally loved outside Illinois:

“I found out about it after the game and I realized that it was probably gonna be a thing. Not maybe as big a thing as it went to with some of the things I saw. That is the state of our media and really our culture, not just media. But our culture. This woke PC culture, and if I may elaborate just slightly, if you don’t mind. I think that in general my feelings are this:

There’s a PC woke culture that exists, and there’s a cancel culture at the same time. And it’s based on people’s own feelings of personal miserability or just distaste for their own situations or life or just an enjoyment of holding other people down with their thumb, but when you engage in this culture and you’re immersed in it and you’re in it so much and for me, when I took time in the offseason to work on myself and work on my mental status, I was selfish or nonresponsive, and selfish and entitled. When I came back and said what I said at what I felt like was the right time and spoke the truth, the same sentiments were shared. Maybe not by as many people, because a lot of people respected what I said, but the same sentiments were shared.

I read this and then for some reason my eyes went straight to your avatar, which made the quote that much funnier.

This shit right here has been happening a TON. Mahomes isn’t playing great - but his receivers are playing like ass right now. Hopefully they can get back in sync.

Is this really a good point?

I learned way more from Big Bird than I ever will from Joe Rogan.

Because big Bird and Elmo clearly are coming up with this stuff themselves

And how much money it was going to cost him.

Consider me slightly skeptical that a scheme as ancient and as common as the Cover-2 is the reason why these world crusher teams suddenly look like landfill fires.

Sean Payton gets seen without a mask on the sideline last year once and the Saints lose a 6th round pick

Rodgers lies for months and he and the team get a joke of a fine

I’m as sure those punishments were just and proportionate as I’m sure nobody else in the entire league but Jon Gruden is implicated in the WFT emails

Hahahahahhaha, it wasn’t even for lying or giving maskless press conferences against protocol. It was just the one party.
