The National Football League

Good. Tez has some weird switch in his brain that flips when he gets on the field. I think it’s good that he’s off it for a while.

In cincinnati, everyone blamed our “culture” and when he went to Oakland, I kept seeing all this stuff about how “Tez is redeemed” etc. because of off-field stuff.

Dudes, Tez Burfict has always been an incredible person off-field. He did tons of charity and community work in Cincy, that literally no one in the national media paid attention to because…Cincinnati. He goes to Oakland and does the same thing and now people see it, great, fine, but all of us in/from Cincy know he’s totally different off the field than on.

So great, now he’s not playing football, he can concentrate on being the community-oriented family man that he’s always been.

I can’t believe this is Burfect’s 14th suspension. WTF? Imagine a pitcher in MLB that kept throwing at a batter’s head every year and still being allowed to pitch.

The NFLPA itself should be ashamed to allow this clown to play. He’s hurting union members with his crap. But no, make him a captain.

I always wanted to troll people by buying a Burfict jersey and wearing it in public.

It’d be pretty hard to resist diving at your knees tbh

Any one here that’s had emotional issues and has played a sport at a competitive level knows how stuff like this can happen.

I’m amazed it hasn’t spilled over into his off-the-field life.

It would manifest in his off-the-field behavior. Maybe it has, but has been kept quiet.

I got this fortune just earlier tonight. I have the intention of plastering it around the forum when people are in disagreement:

I assume the headset they gave Roethlisberger is like some kind of child’s play headset that they gave him to keep him occupied. Like how you give a kid a toy phone to play around with. Like, there’s no way they’re letting that meathead make calls, right?

I mean it was clearly past time for Marvin Lewis to go. But I always knew Bengals were going to revert to pre-Marvin Lewis days once they got rid of him.

OK this is a rebuilding year for the Bengals.

It will be a rebuilding year(s) until Mike Brown dies.

No, I’m not wishing death on anyone, it’s just a fact.

At least he can thank Katrina that he’s not the worst of his name.

History will be kind to Marvin Lewis. 131-122 with that joke of a franchise. Imagine making the playoffs 6 of 7 years.
Also coached one of the best D of all time in the 2001 SB winning Ravens.
Us older Bengals fans remember what it was like in the post Paul Brown era without Marvin.
