Went to the casino to play cards and watch the game, thinking thereād be good action. There was one 1-3 game for almost the entire day.
Yet how fucking good did I run? ā¦ NY state only somewhat-recently allowed sportsbetting and I was unfamiliar with the machines at del Lago. So while I tried to place a small bet on KC in the first half, 'cause I didnāt plan to play so long, it turned out to be a full-game wager. Which I didnāt realize until I went to cash out +500BB and they paid my ālosingā ticket.
Damn it was a good weekend.

As I get older then sporting disappointments are more slow burn than heat of the moment things. Last night I felt nothing much, but I realise that today I just think itās a real shame and am a little melancholy, like if Iād spilled wine on a favourite shirt or accidentally mildly offended a friend. You know, that sort of thing. Anyway, I will keep you all updated.

One of the few things that could keep me interested in the NFL next year would be Brady going to another team. I hear the Patriots are willing to give him up to 30mil next year. I just dont see how they will address the other needs with quite few guys having expiring contracts and apparently not much cap room. I also would like to see him doing it without BB.
