No one can realistically beat trump but between his legal issues, age and physical health there’s a decent chance he doesn’t finish the primary. Desantis has a fighting chance in that universe.

If you watch the answer, he’s still hedging. “He lost” can still mean that he lost because Biden was a good cheater.
The “reasonable” Republican answer to this is question is some form of
- Joe Biden is the President
- There were irregularities in the 2020 election
- We’ll never know the extend of the irregularities because courts threw out cases based on “standing”
