I think tRUmp is still trying to figure out what ephebophilia means.
I don’t know that Trump has the energy or resources to actually start a third party that’s on the ballot in all 50 states. Seems much easier to just tweet about a stolen primary and pull a Logan Roy at the convention.
I’m sure there are many people working for Trump who are well-acquainted with the “first of all, it’s not pedophilia, it’s ephebophilia” tactic.

In Czechia, it’s surprising how casual the relationship is between some teachers and their students. I mean students wanted me to come to the after-party for their version of prom.
Definite wtf moment for me. Like most teachers, I politely declined but a few of the teachers at the school did not.
Some of my fellow grad students said relationships between professors and students were common in the countries they were from (Columbia, Brazil, Argentina).
One day I saw one of my advisors kissing one of his students in the cafeteria. It was a bit of a shock at the time. It turned out he had left his wife and was engaged to the student. He was European, I don’t remember the country.
On one hand, people are going to fall in love or whatever. On the other hand, it’s obviously problematic. I don’t think this is a moral dilemma for old Ron though.
It seems to me that there’s a rapid shift toward recognizing that relationships with a big gap in “power” are problematic, even if consensual and legal. It’s interesting to watch.

One of my friends in undergrad was doing the sex with one of our TAs, I assume that sort of thing still goes on in the US. There was also an open secret that one prof was boning one of his grad students.
