Don’t most people fudge property values for tax and loan purposes? Is it just that (like with most everything) he exaggerated in Trumpian fashion?

My point is, I bet if you audited 100 real estate developers and landlords, 95 will have fabricated property value somewhere along the way. Ditto for homeowners applying for an equity line of credit. I don’t think this hurts his public perception and may even help it

Option 1: The President is making a sly and subtle reference to James’s selective law enforcement, i.e., her focus on relatively minor white-collar crimes at the expense of “real” violent crimes in her jurisdiction. If you stretch this far enough, her focus could be described as “now you see it, now you don’t”, which gets you to “peekaboo”.

Option 2: He’s conflating the word Peekaboo with Jigaboo.
