I really can’t tell if this is a story the Trump camp is pushing out as another “everything was just so disorganized all the time, things got mixed up!” excuse, or the standard, astonishing incompetence of the Trump administration

Rich people with influence have rich ‘friends’. Trump will have lots of influence until he dies and possibly beyond that, has money and on top of that is an idiot you can get to do what you want. I know none of this will ever happen but there will always be rich people willing to help Trump. I could even see a country granting him political asylum for being falsely prosecuted.
Anyway this was enough fun with hypotheticals. In reality nothing will happen beyond maybe a behind doors deal that he won’t run for office again.

Man I thought this whole thing was another nothingburger but the part about him packing shit up personally to take abroad is truly nuts. He is so damn lazy and unsophisticated it’s like 95% selling shit / blackmail 5% “look at this cool thing I have.”
You could see him as potus entering in the codes and then hovering his finger over the “bombs away” button and watching the professional staff squirm.

Can’t imagine there will be any riots or anything close if trump is indicted, def some random terrorism but not enough will get off their couch to go into the streets and risk arrest imo

Yeah, we’ll continue to have stochastic terrorism and MAGA chuds will instantly disown whoever gets killed or arrested.
I’m worried that they are bringing guns to the party and that law enforcement will continue to bend over backwards to treat them lightly.
Not so sure any liberal prosecutor that indicts is gonna get the instant B Kavanaugh security detail from Congress so this could get interesting.
It gets interesting if Trump starts explicitly calling for attacks on targets he hates.
